Ache Akhlaaq Wale Ka Jannat - Maulana Tariq Jameel

Sayidna Umar-e-Farooq

Sayidna Umar-e-Farooq reports that one day we were with the Holy Prophet on a mountain when all of a sudden an old man with a stick appeared and greeted the Holy Prophet . The Holy Prophet suspected that the old man was a Jinn, which he was. The Jinn whose name was Hama was the son of Haym, whose father was Laqis, who was the son of Iblis. The Holy Prophet confirmed from him two generations between Hama and Iblis.

The Holy Prophet then asked him his age:

"O Holy Prophet" , He said, "I am slightly less older than the Earth. I was a few years old when Qabil (Cain) killed Habil (Abel). I used to run between mountains and steal people's food. I also used to put bad ideas about others in people's minds and sow discontent and distrust between people."

The Holy Prophet told him his actions were wrong. The Jinn said he came to seek forgiveness.

"O Holy Prophet ! In the past I met Sayidna Nuh and spent a year in his company. I sought his forgiveness. Similarly, I have spent time in the company Sayidna Hud , Sayidna Yaqub and Sayidna Yusuf . I learnt the Torah and sent my Salaam's to Sayidna Isa . It was Sayidna Isa who told me to come to you and offer his Salaam. So I am here to convey that message to you and also request that you teach me some of the words of Allah Almighty."

The Holy Prophet taught him Surah Mursalat, Naba, Ikhlas and Shams. The Holy Prophet further said to Hama that he should come to him if he ever needed him.

Sayidna Umar further states that the Holy Prophet left this physical world and was unsure as to whether Hama was still alive or not.

Moral of Story:

The Holy Prophet is master not only over Mankind but the Jinn too. The Holy Prophet had told him that when he needed his help he should go to him without placing any time or space on the matter. This proves the Holy Prophet can and does help his followers whenever and wherever after his worldy death.

One day The Holy Prophet asked Sayidna Jibra'il.

One day The Holy Prophet asked Sayidna Jibra'il about his age? Sayidna Jibra'il respectfully replied that he did not know his exact age, but he could only provide an estimate. The estimate being that he had seen a star in the Heavens after every 72,000 years and that he has seen the satr shine 72,000 times.
The Holy Prophet smiled and told Sayidna Jibra'il that the star he saw was no other than himself.

Moral of Story:

Our Beloved Prophet was the first being created by Allah Almighty. His Noor shone when there was no angel, jinn or human.

Imam Azam Abu Hanifa and an athiest.

One day a debate took place between Imam Azam Abu Hanifa and an athiest. The issue of debate was whether or not there is a creator of the universe. A huge crowd gathered for this debate but for some reason, Imam Abu Hanifa turned up late. On arrival, the athiest asked him why he was late? Imam Abu Hanifa said:

"If I was to tell you that I was walking through the jungle when I saw a strange occurence. I stood by, as I saw a tree uproot itself from the ground and started to form planks. The planks assembled into a boat. The boat then by itself, went into the river and started to transport people from one bank of the river to the other. The boat also took money from each passenger. So now tell me would you believe such a story?"

The athiest listened with astonishment that such a lie was said by a respected man and replied:

"How can it be that all this happened by itself when no person or force was in control of this event!"

Imam Abu Hanifa replied:

"Just as a boat cannopt operate from nothing, similarly this entire universe we live in cannot operate without a controller. The earth, the heavens, the moon, the sun, the stars, everthing in the universe needs a creator as well. If only one boat needs a creator then surely the entire universe needs a creator."

The athiest was speechless by what Imam Abu Hanifa had said and readily accepted Allah Almighty as his Lord.

Moral of Story:

The universe has one creator who is Allah Almighty. The denial of His existence is against common sense as Imam Abu Hanifa demonstrated.
