[Tirmidhi 1049]

Abu Wâ'il narrated: "Ali said to Abu Al-Hayyâj Al-Asadi: "I am dispatching you with what the Prophet (Peace be upon him) dispatched me: ``That you not leave an elevated grave without leveling it, nor an image without erasing it.'' ( Sahih) There is something about this from Jâbir. Abu `Eisâ said: The Hadith of `Ali is a Hasan Hadith . This is acted upon according to some of the people of knowledge. They consider it disliked for a grave to be raised above the ground.Ash-Shâfi`i said: ``It is disliked to elevate a grave more than the extent by which it may be known that it is a grave, and it may not be tread on or sat on.''[Tirmidhi 1049]

[Nisai 2033

Alî (May Allah be pleased with him) said: "Shall I not send you on the same mission as the Messenger of Allâh (Peace be upon him) sent me? Do not leave any raised grave without leveling it, or any image in a house without erasing it." (Sahîh) [Nisai 2033]

( Sahih ) [Dawood 3218]
