A Sahabi Who Was Told Thrice To Repeat His Salaah

Narrated Abu Hurairah R.A, the Messenger of Allah SalAllahu Alyehe Wasallam entered the Masjid and a person followed him. The man prayed and then went to the Prophet SalAllahu Alyehe Wasallam and greeted him. He returned the greeting and said,
‘Go back and Pray, for you have not prayed’.

The man went back and prayed the same way as before, and then
returned and greeted the Prophet SalAllahu Alyehe Wasallam, who returned the greeting and said, ‘Go back and Pray, for you have not prayed’. This happened three times.

The man said, ‘By Him Who sent you with the Truth, I cannot do any better than this so please teach me’.

Beloved Prophet SalAllahu Alyehe Wasallam said, ‘When you stand for the prayer, say Takbeer and then recite what is easy for you from the Qur’an (from what you know by heart); then bow until you feel at ease in rukoo’; then raise your head and stand up straight (till all your backbone comes back to it’s place), then prostrate until you feel at ease in Sajdah; then sit with calmness until you feel at ease, and do likewise in all your prayers.’

THE CLEANER

During my second lesson of nursing school, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions, until I read the last one: “What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?”

Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark- haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her name?

I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank.

Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade.

“Absolutely,” said the professor. “In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say ‘Hello.”

I’ve never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Halimah.

May ALLAH give us the ability to make all people feel special, may ALLAH never make us look down upon a person. Aameen

THE BEAUTIFUL HIJAB

Once a brother was driving while visiting in a country, along with his wife. A lady pulled up beside him and started yelling obceneties at him, and asking " why are you doing that to her". She was talking about his veiled wife.

He told her to pullover on the side, and she did.

He said "you asked me a question, I will answer it"

"where is your money he said?"

Reluctantly she answered "in my wallet"

"where is your wallet?" he asked.

"why? Why do you want to know" she replied.

He said "you asked me a question and I will answer it, I am not going to rob you, just answer the question"

"in my purse" she said.

"where do you keep your purse?"

"Why?" she asked.

"You asked a question and I will answer it, where do you keep your purse?"

"Under the seat in my car" she answered.

"why do you do that?"

"why go through the trouble of putting your money in your wallet, then in a purse, the putting the purse under the seat?"

"To protect it, should someone want to steal it" she said.

"that is why my wife is covered, to protect her."

May ALLAH make it easy for the sisters to wear the Hijab in the CORRECT manner. May the covering of your shroud not be the first time you will wear the Hijab. Aameen.

SALLALAHU ALAYHE WASALLAM

When a physician treats us for a broken bone, we express our gratitude. When a lawyer successfully advocates on our behalf, we express our gratitude. We feel obliged to thank such people despite the absence of any personal relation with them. An Arabic proverb holds that "Man is a slave to favours."

There is no denying that the greatest source of blessing for the Muslims and ALL of mankind is Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Therefore invoking blessings is more than just a demand of altruism; it is incumbent upon us as an expression of our loyalty to him. UNLIKE praising others, invoking blessings on the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) holds great rewards. Sending ONE blessing will gain your bank balance TEN. (MUSLIM) Do the MATHS :) Do you want to be the closest to the Prophet on the day of Judgement? "The one closest to me on the day of judgement will be the one who invokes blessing upon me the most." (TIRMIDHI)
