THE PUPPIES

A farmer had some puppies, he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the pups and set about nailing it to a post on the edge of his yard. As he was driving the last nail into the post, he felt a tug on his overalls. He looked down into the eyes of a little boy.

"Uncle," he said, "I want to buy one of your puppies."

"Well," said the farmer, as he rubbed the sweat off the back of his neck, "these puppies come from fine parents and cost a good deal of money."

The boy dropped his head for a moment. Then reaching deep into his pocket, he pulled out a handful of change and held it up to the farmer. "I've got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to take a look?"

"Sure," said the farmer.

And with that he let out a whistle, "Here, Dolly!" he called. Out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran Dolly followed by four little balls of fur. The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight. As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse.

Slowly another little ball appeared; this one noticeably smaller. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a somewhat awkward manner the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up.

"I want that one," the little boy said, pointing to the runt.

The farmer knelt down at the boy's side and said, "Son, you don't want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would."

With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers.

In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself to a specially made shoe. Looking back up at the farmer, he said, "You see sir, I don't run too well myself, and he will need someone who understands."

The world is full of people who need someone who understands.

MORAL: Everyone of us have our own shortage and weaknesses. But if we are willing to, we can make advantage of our own shortage and weaknesses instead of opposing them.

THE TRAVELLERS AND THE TREE

Two men were walking along one summer day. Soon it became too hot to go any further and, seeing a large plane tree nearby, they threw themselves on the ground to rest in its shade.

Gazing up into the branches one man said to the other: "What a useless tree this is. It does not have fruit or nuts that we can eat and we cannot even use its wood for anything."

"Don't be so ungrateful," rustled the tree in reply. "I am being extremely useful to you at this very moment, shielding you from the hot sun. And you call me a good-for-nothing!"

All of ALLAH's creations have a good purpose. Islam teaches us that we should never belittle ALLAH's blessings.

Oh ALLAH please enable us to thank you for your continuous blessings each day. Aameen

THE BEAUTIFUL GIRL

A boy saw a BEAUTIFUL girl that captured his heart. He went to his dad as he wanted to marry her.

His dad responded, "No you don't deserve her. I will take her for myself!"

They had a disagreement, so they went to the city's judge to solve the problem. He told them "neither you or him will marry her, i'm the one who deserves her!"

They all began to quarrel and went to the governor of the city! Of course we all know what happened! he also wanted her for himself. They all wanted her for themselves.

Finally the girl said, "We will make a race in the Forest and you will all chase me and whoever catches me is the winner!"

They ran and ran and ran and finally not realising an abbys the four men fall in a deep abyss! they all settled in the deep hole staring at the girl who looked down at them and said, "I'm the Dunya! no matter how you chase me you will end up in this hole!"

Oh ALLAH. Keep us aware of our PURPOSE OF LIFE. Oh ALLAH enable us to fulfill our purpose. Oh ALLAH help us fulfill this purpose. Aameen

MUHAMMAD ALIS ADVICE

I was wearing a little white tank top and a short black skirt. I had never before worn such revealing clothing while in my fathers presence.

When we finally arrived, the chauffer escorted my younger sister, Laila and me up to my fathers suite. As usual, he was hiding behind the door waiting to scare us. We exchanged many hugs and kisses as we could possibly give in one day. My father took a good look at us.

Then he sat me down on his lap and said something that I will never forget. He looked at me straight in the eyes and said, "Hana, everything ALLAH made valuable in the world is covered and hard to get to.

Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground covered and protected. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean covered up and protected in a beautiful shell. Where do you find gold? Way down in the mine covered over with layers and layers of rock. You've got to work hard to get to them."

He looked at me with serious eyes. "Your body is sacred. You're far more precious than diamonds and pearls, and you should be covered too."

THE POTATO GARDEN

An old man lived alone in home. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison.

The old man wrote a letter to his son and told his situation.

"Dear Son, I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year. I hate to miss doing the garden, because your mother always loved planting time. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot.

If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren't in prison ... Your Father."

Shortly, the old man received the reply from his son: "For heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up the garden! That's where I buried the Guns!"

The next morning, A dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns.

Confused old man wrote another note to his son telling him what have happened, and asked him what to do next.

His son's reply was: "Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad, It's the best I could do for you from here."

MORAL: No matter where you are in the world, if you have decided to do something deep from your heart, you can do it!

TWO HORSES

Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it. From a distance, each horse looks like any other horse.

But if you get a closer look you will notice something quite interesting. One of the horses is blind. His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made him a safe and comfortable barn to live in.This alone is pretty amazing.

But if you stand nearby and listen, you will hear the sound of a bell. It is coming from a smaller horse in the field.

Attached to the horse's halter is a small, copper-colored bell. It lets the blind friend know where the other horse is, so he can follow.

As you stand and watch these two friends you'll see that the horse with the bell is always checking on the blind horse, and that the blind horse will listen for the bell and then slowly walk to where the other horse is, trusting he will not be led astray.

When the horse with the bell returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, he will stop occasionally to look back, making sure that the blind friend isn't too far behind to hear the bell.

Like the owners of these two horses, Allah does not throw us away just because we are not perfect. Or because we have problems or challenges.

He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need.

Sometimes we are the blind horse, being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives. And at other times we are the guide horse, helping others to find their way.
